Plymouth man sent ex-partner 'nasty' messages
A MAN pestered his ex-partner and demanded to be let into her house, a court heard.
Ian Hollis, aged 36, sent many "nasty and angry" text messages to the woman, Plymouth magistrates heard.
Hollis, of Woodville Road, North Prospect, admitted pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of his ex-partner between October 22 and October 24.
Prosecutor Eoin McCarthy said the couple had recently split up when Hollis began pestering her and sent numerous text messages.

Mr McCarthy said: "They were neither threatening nor violent," Mr McCarthy said. But he added: "They were nasty and angry."
He said Hollis turned up at the woman's house swearing and demanding to be let in, and police were called.
Selena Aylett, for Hollis, said the offence was "something of a one-off".
Magistrates ordered a probation report into his background. Hollis was released on bail, on condition he does not contact the woman, to return to court for sentence on November 19.
