Plymouth musician is recognised
A TALENTED city musician has been recognised for her role in the Plymouth Youth Orchestra.
Plymouth College Preparatory School pupil, Issey Charlesworth, aged 10, has received a certificate of commitment and £100 from the Music Service for her role in the Plymouth Youth Orchestra. The violinist was presented with her certificate while the youth orchestra was performing in a concert at Plymouth Pavilions.

She was nominated by the orchestra director and conductor, Mrs van der Vliet, for her commitment and dedication to helping to lead the 25-strong orchestra and for inspiring the younger musicians.
Issey has played the violin since she was five-years-old and she is working towards her grade 5 examination and she is also a member of the school orchestra. Last year Issey won the U14 violin class at the Plymouth Festival.
