TWO car fires are being investigated by police.

The burning cars, a silver Ford Ka and beige Audi A4, were both put out by fire crews in the early hours of this morning.

The silver Ford Ka, on Staddon Terrace Lane, off North Road West, was found to be "well alight" by fire crews from Greenbank Fire Station at around 3.30am. Police are investigating the cause of the fire which left the vehicle severely damaged.

Police were also called to a vehicle fire on Wolseley Road at around 2.15am. A beige Audi A4 was "severely damaged" and fire crews thought that the fire may have been started deliberately. Police are continuing to investigate the causes of both fires.
