Plymouth pupils have yen for making sushi

PUPILS from Woodfield Primary school had a taste of Japan in lessons on sushi making.

The master class was held at Yo Sushi in Drake Circus in response to the children learning about Japan during lessons.

They had been reading Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo about Kensuke, who was originally from Japan.

The restaurant put on the class free of charge for the 15 pupils after they were contacted by teacher Michelle Boon.
