Plymouth road cordoned off because of loose roof damaged by wind

A Plymouth road has been closed to cars and pedestrians because of what police have described as 'a loose roof'.

Station Approach has been cordoned off by emergency services while attempts are made to secure the roof.

Station Approach is close to Saltash Road and North Road East.

The high wind has already seen the Tamar Bridge closed to some vehicles with whole lanes shut, and Plymouth's Christmas lights switch-on entertainment scrapped.
