Winners could follow in the footsteps of Charlotte Holmes who won the Face of Plymouth modelling competition in 2007.
She is now Miss England and competed in hit television show Britain's Next Top Model in 2010.
The Herald's Gemma Mulcahy, who is spearheading the search, said: "This is the first time we are giving girls and guys a real opportunity to be spotted and break into modelling. We are using a professional scout and choreographers to make sure they learn all the tricks of the trade before hitting the catwalk. So they'll be super confident when they hit the runway.
"Everyone selected will be used in our forthcoming wedding show as well as some other exciting projects yet to be revealed. As well as that, they may even be considered for the books of Brian Brown and Jasmin modelling agency.
"We want to hear from as many people as possible as we want a whole range of looks."
To be in with a chance, get along to the Holiday Inn on the Hoe on Sunday, March 24 and Monday, March 25 between 4pm and 7.30pm for the auditions.
Bring along the best photos of your face and your body on the day. Women who enter must be aged between 16 and 30 and be at least five feet seven inches. However, we are also searching for classic models aged between 30 and 50.
Men who audition should be aged 16 to 35 and be at least five feet eleven inches.
Brian Brown, based in Swansea, has been in the fashion industry for more than 40 years and is responsible for glamorous boutiques, salons and modelling agencies across the globe.
His creative director, Jasmin Mann, is the founder of an award-winning salon in Cardiff.
She travels internationally teaching her trade to others.
Envy, which has hairdressing salons in Plymstock and Royal William Yard, will be styling hair on the day of the show and making sure models locks are in good condition in the run up to the big event.
Salon Director Tracie Gunningham said: "We feel really privileged to have been asked and the team are really excited about it. Its a great event to be involved in."
