Plymouth views on Cameron EU referendum speech
The Prime Minister promises a simple in-out referendum on EU - after the next election – as he finally delivers his EU speech, delayed last week by the Algerian hostage crisis.
He says a new Treaty is needed - for the entire EU, not just for Britain.
The next Conservative Manifesto in 2015 will ask for a mandate for a Conservative Government to negotiate a new settlement with our European partners in the next Parliament. It will be a relationship with the Single Market at its heart.
"When we have negotiated that new settlement, we will give the British people a referendum with a very simple in or out choice. To stay in the EU on these new terms; or come out altogether. It will be an in-out referendum."

He says: "I am not a British isolationist, but I do want a better deal for Britain."
Cameron's 5 principles for the EU: Competitiveness, Flexibility; Repatriation of some powers; Democratic accountability; Fairness.
Earlier a leading member of the UK Independence Party in Plymouth told The Herald that David Cameron would be wasting his time by trying to negotiate a better deal for Britain inside the European Union,
"What nobody is facing up to is that there is no way the EU will give us anything back," Hugh Williams, a member of the UKIP national executive and deputy treasurer of the party, said.
"There is only one solution that would keep us happy is to come out of the EU – and David Cameron won't give us that."
Oliver Colvile, Conservative MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, said: "Yes, I am Euro-sceptic. But, no, I don't want us to leave the union.
"But I do want a fundamental realignment and renegotiation.
"We can't do this unilaterally. We need allies in the EU who want the same things as we do."
Wayne David, Labour's shadow minister for political and constitutional reform, told The Herald that the Prime Minister risked damaging British business by creating uncertainty over Europe.

“Was it the intention of the Government, under the shadow of Christmas and New Year to all, to make certain payments early to then attempt to lead into error in judgement under false promise of payment of an other half in illusion to determine via false test who is the weak via a process of division and argument? Does late payment cause cash-flow in so far as to cause food and rent arrears which temporarily make the changes inflicted by the Government to be seen to be of worth (so it can justify its own existence via attendance to its own needs) although at a greater cost in the long run which ensures its own once in term return. If as so far as thus, it would appear the Government is following the lines of another magickal circle: slight of hand no rabbit in the hat. The art?
Dear British Prime Minister David Cameron MP (in know free substitution ego example). It would appear you have lied to me. You have lied to Tommy. You have lied to Vera. 33 degrees in radian, Satan. Freemasonry your highest ranking honorary member is a liar. There is of no benefit to you being here. Pa Ra do yea answer yeah.”

“ermesThelema,
what are you on??
seriously i read your comment with phycodelic glasses on and i still did not understand one word:(
i believe that the eu does have a part to play in our future but i do not see that they will be in our future if we do not get control over our borders and stop this free travel through out the eu and the burden that brings with it.
1/ cost to nhs dealing with eu migratory health seekers.
2/ cost to social housing and therefore the lack of it because it is going to eu citizens and not the nationals of our own country.
3/ cost to the benefits system.
4/ cost of diluting our own nationality by minorities becoming ever bigger and demanding rights that are not in common with our own nation.
5/ cost of job burden because there are however many foriegn nationals going for the same jobs as our own nationals and marginalising them by squeezing them out of there own job market.
..... shame on you no matter what party you are affiliated to if you can not see the sense in what i have written above albeit a very brief generalisation.”

“It would appear the British Prime Minister has just stood up and admitted that his lines in change have had so little beneficial effect other than to use up the budget allotted and that his only other idea is not to attempt to do anything else until after the next vote – which is in effect itself a call to another vote.
By analysing the name 'D-a-v-i-d C-a-m-e-r-o-n' we can see whatever the hell system of wisdom the British Prime Minister is following seems to be devised such that his own name will translate as "Don't you know politics is all tied up these days – a coalition - come on pull the other one it's just a puppet circus, like a DVD, to keep them happy whilst we draw our wages and wagers in line"; or at best as "The one who was destined to divide the country via a continued process of bullying its own populace via the traditional methods of divide into isolated individuals of set groups and attempt conquer (as in conquers, the playground game) by raising in the mind's of the rest of the populace anger and argument against each other so as to mask the illusion that we knew all along a coalition would never work". Will the current leadership be accredited in history for bringing the country to the brink of social disorder and civil conflict?
British Prime Minister David Cameron, as quoted in oath in promise:
"A shake up of the benefits system" - pay half the money early and half the money late to see if it scares them into giving up. Saint Paul.
"Streamline the benefits system" - proposing to change payments to once a month in the Autumn. Saint Peter.
Archbishop moves to Saint Paul's Cathedral, Canterbury Tales. Checkmate, my friend, Eden?”

We dont want or need the UK

“Manifestos are meaningless and are really confidence tricks to get the gullible public voters to vote for the political party.
Once in power, the manifesto goes out the window and the ruling party does as it wishes in the so-called best interests of the general public.
In the likelihood of a possible referendum on the EU, the politicians and the people in the know need to enlighten the general public with the facts for and against and not merely a series of half truths and lies and not just comments from vested interest groups.
So far, there has been really nothing in the media that explains to me the pros and cons of the EU.”
