A HIP hop dance troupe featured on ITV'S Britain's Got Talent are working with Plymouth youngsters.

Cornish troupe Flava are working with police to run dance workshops to build confidence.

The 'b Inspired' workshop is taking place at Lipson Community College today and tomorrow.

Seventy students aged between 11 and 14 will be taught how to work with others and how to express themselves in a positive way.

Kyle Richardson, the group's founder, said: "We want kids to look to us as positive role models and show them that if they put their mind to something they can achieve so much."

One of the routines focuses on bullying, with a discussion about the impact it has on people and how it makes people feel. After the final session on Friday, the students will perform their moves in front of parents and other students.

Pc Wayne Marshall, neighbourhood beat manager for the area, said: "We hope that the students feel inspired to do something they enjoy whether that is dance, music or any other activity."
