“No doubt plenty of jokes to come on this story but being serious the Police had to check and the man was right to call them,the woman could have been being assaulted.
I know someone who saw what they thought was a courting couple,averted his eyes and moved on,next day it was reported on here that the woman was actually being attacked.”

“I bet the police response time was quicker for this than it is for a crime against the public”

“What the hell is wrong with the world;
1. What man would not want to look out the window and have a look;
2. Can't expect people to go up to devil's point - too windy up there;
3. Let's face it, the barbican is quite romantic, with the aroma of fish, seagulls and Cap'n Jasper's in the background;
4. Come on we've all done that, at some time or the other.
