Police close A38 and deploy stinger to stop car, two in hospital
TWO people were taken to hospital after police closed the A38 and deployed a stinger to stop a car.
Officers followed the car from Bodmin after reports of violence inside the vehicle.
-

They closed the A38 at Trerulefoot just after 3pm and deployed a stinger - designed to bring a vehicle to a controlled stop by deflating the tyres.
The vehicle, a Nissan Primera with two people inside, crashed into a Land Rover.
It is unclear whether the car rolled over the stinger before the crash.
Two people, a 48-year-old man and a woman, were taken to Derriford Hospital.
The road was closed for two hours, causing traffic tailbacks.
Anyone with information should call 0845 777444, quoting log number 365.

“It seems that you, mike175, should care about grammar and how to spell it. And while we're on the subject, mediclad should note that he missed the apostrophe in WON'T in his comment about not buying the newspaper due to poor grammar.”

“Why, is she the woman in hospital? Whatever this is all about I think you could be a bit more sympathetic.”
