Police inundated with found clothes after Jordan Cobb went missing
POLICE have issued a description of the clothes last worn by missing teen Jordan Cobb after being inundated with items found along the shoreline.
Desperate to help in tracing the 16-year-old (pictured right) who went missing on New Year’s Eve after he jumped from the Torpoint Ferry crossing the River Tamar, members of the public have been picking up any clothing or footwear they find at the water’s edge.
Police have said bags of clothing have been handed into police and the MoD police by concerned searchers who fear it may belong to the Stoke Damerel Community College student.
A spokesman for Plymouth police said: “On the night Jordan went missing he was wearing a blue polo shirt, a pair of denim jeans and a pair of Adidas trainers – either grey and blue or white and blue – possibly size nine.

“We have been handed a large number of items over the past few days, including black trainers and long sleeve tops. We have also been handed headphones by people who thought he may have been wearing them.
“We are issuing a description of the clothes Jordan was wearing on New Year’s Eve and would ask people to contact us if they find similar or matching items.”
The multi-agency search, involving police, the RNLI, coastguard and MoD police launches continued yesterday
