Pony rescued from Tavistock bog
A fire appliance from Tavistock, together with a Specialist Rescue Team from Camels Head, were called out to the Whitchurch area of Tavistock at around 8:30 on Sunday, following a report of a pony is stuck in a bog.
Fire crews were able to rescue the animal from the bog using small tools, lines, water rescue equipment and animal rescue equipment. The pony was left in hands of a vet and farmer.
