Prize time for Hill Lane at tennis league awards
HILL LANE were the most successful club at the Wilson Plymouth & District Tennis League annual awards night at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel.
They picked up the men's Division Two and Four and the ladies' Division Two trophies. Devonshire won the ladies' Division One and Five and Tavistock the men's Division One and Seven trophies.
The award for 'Services to Tennis' went to Peter Wilson in recognition of the way Plympton Tennis Club have been transformed in recent years. The club have flourishing senior and junior sections with four men's and two ladies' teams in the seniors.
