Probe into dump truck accident at Plymouth school building site
A BUILDER whose dump truck tumbled down an embankment at a primary school has suffered "potentially life changing" injuries, police have said.
The man, who works for construction firm Interserve, was carrying out repair work at Riverside Primary School, in Barne Barton, on Wednesday afternoon when the dump truck he was driving toppled over.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is now being carried out by the Health and Safety Executive and Interserve.
The Herald reported at the time of the incident that the man had been left with suspected broken bones as a result of the accident.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police yesterday said: "The industrial accident victim suffered potentially life changing injuries."
