Last month, Raiders announced a sponsorship deal with chewing gum giants Wrigleys.

Raiders have made it clear they intend to move into high-powered European competition within the next three years.

Raiders vice-chairman Damon Lenszner said of the Tony Pryce deal: "This is an important partnership for Raiders – it gives us both a high street and an online retail presence.

"To be working with the region's largest independent sports retailer is great for the club, expanding Raiders' presence across our franchise area of Devon and Cornwall, as well as offering core local fans easy access to merchandise."

Raiders' new kit was launched on the same day as the announcement of the Wrigleys sponsorship deal last month.

The range includes a tracksuit, polo shirt, T-shirts and replica kits. Warm-up tops and hooded sweatshirts are on the way.

Adrian Giblett, managing director of Tony Pryce Sports, said his firm will be responsible for running the club shop on matchdays at the Pavilions.

He said: "We are excited to be associated with Raiders."

“This is bad news for fans as the replica shirt is now at football kit prices & in this credit crunch time too pricey for a lot of fans.”

“The Pryce is wrong for me.The kit is priced the same as football kit & with the current credit crisis it seems too high a price. I know Raiders want to be successful but don't price the ordinary fans out of buying the kit.”
