UNIVERSITY students worked with children from Yealmpstone Farm Primary School to carve out pumpkins and plant spring bulbs.

The combined effort was brought together by community project, Diggin' It.

The children from Yealmpstone Farm are part of the school's gardening club and range in age from reception to Year 6.

They spent the afternoon designing pumpkins, hollowing them out, planting spring bulbs, roasting marshmallows and singing camp fire songs.
