Purse move to Port Vale completed
DEFENDER Darren Purse must have had mixed emotions as his new club convincingly beat his old one at Vale Park on Saturday.
Purse parted company with Plymouth Argyle by mutual agreement on Friday afternoon, as revealed by Herald Sport on Saturday.
The 35-year-old will officially complete a move to Port Vale today on a contract until the end of the season.
Vale boss Micky Adams said: "Personally, I thought he kept Plymouth in the division last season with his leadership qualities."
