Puzzle challenge makes maths fun
INFANT school pupils racked their brains to solve giant 3D puzzles.
Children of all ages tackled challenges set by the Happy Puzzle Company during a visit to Plaistow Hill Infant School.
They worked in teams to "turn the impossible into the possible" as part of the maths-themed day.
Anthony Rollinson, maths subject leader at the Kings Tamerton infant school, said: "This year we have been working really hard to develop the children's problem solving skills.

"We want the children to be enthused by maths and not just see it as solving sums.
"We have also been working hard to develop our children's speaking and listening skills as these skills are vital in all areas of their learning.
"A visit from the Happy Puzzle Company was the perfect opportunity for our children to continue to develop these skills whilst having lots of fun too."
