Quick work for pothole champion
THE Herald's own pothole detective has been at it again.
Pothole Pete dashed out to meet enraged Mike Way after his wheel was so badly damaged he had to call in the AA.
The crater was on Mannamead Road after the junction of Hartley Road.
Mike's girlfriend Nikki Gibbons was quickly on the blower to Plymouth City Council.

And at the mere mention of Pothole Pete's name, the road workers were straight round to fill in the hole.
The response was so speedy that Pete, the council and the AA were all on the scene at the same time.
Good work Pete.
