Raid show need to include community
YOUR article of October 12 about the police action at Ivybridge Community College over drug concerns at the school highlights the need for community engagement on such issues.
The action taken is to be praised as keeping our children safe is a priority for all of us. The effect of illegal drugs on young children can have a devastating effect on them and their families.
I would urge anyone who has information on those who would deal drugs to young people and damage their lives to contact the Police or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 so as these people can be stopped before they do further damage.

“"... and, by virtue of using the Herald as an election platform, to vote for me.' Right, Brian?
Has the editor heard of the Representation of the People Acts, which set out rather strict rules governing the amount of space allocated in the press to election candidates? He might want to brush up on them, as breach can result in a prison term for offending editors.”
