Recruitment drive for Plymouth-based reservists
RESERVISTS based in Derriford are holding a recruitment drive this weekend.
383 Commando Petroleum Troop RLC are looking for "fit and motivated individuals who are happy within their own work but are looking for a different challenge that will progress their fitness to a higher level, meet new friends and earn some extra money at the same time".
Upon joining the active troop, volunteers will at some stage complete the Reserve Forces All Arms Commando Course at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines at Lympstone – but only after a fully comprehensive training programme.
Current reservists will be dishing out information on Saturday at Place de Brest, in the city centre, from 10am to 4pm.
