REGEN SW is the sustainable energy agency for the South West.

Its mission is to speed up the transition to a low-carbon economy by unlocking sustainable-energy business opportunities, accelerating the uptake of the region's renewable energy resources, and championing effective energy-demand-reduction initiatives in the region. Since 2002 the South West RDA has invested more than £5.3million in Regen SW.

Regen SW helps develop all aspects of the sustainable energy industry in the region, and it is particularly focused on assisting the growth of renewable energy and energy efficiency businesses by providing targeted business support.

It does this by brokering new business through a supply chain service, providing specialist advice on policy and funding, promoting the sector's capability inside and outside the region, and encouraging inward investment from businesses new to the region.
