Residents hitting the airwaves
EFFORD residents will be taking over the airwaves for a one-day community broadcast.
Efford FM will create a colourful soundscape of the cultures and communities of Efford on Sunday, July 25.
The broadcast will feature portraits of local characters, the wild foods of Efford and a ukulele marathon.
Listeners can enjoy song requests from loved ones, debate issues with vox pops or sit back and enjoy an afternoon play about the Wild Spirits of Efford.
The broadcast on July 25 is from 9am to 9pm.
Anyone within four miles of Efford should be able to pick up the station on 107.9FM.

There will be a community barbeque in Efford Valley from 11am to 3pm on the same day.
Sound Art Radio based in Totnes is also picking up the live stream to deliver Efford FM to their listeners.

Efford FM is a project for Take A Part, a two-year arts in the public realm programme for Efford.
