Road blocked by two-car crash in Horrabridge

Police are directing traffic on the A386 at Horrabridge after a crash has left the road blocked and two people injured.

A silver BMW and a blue Vauxhall Astra collided on Graybridge Road outside Manor Garage at 10:30am today.

The fire control room received a call from the ambulance service asking for assistance on the A386 at the junction of Graybridge Road, Horrabridge, Yelverton.

One fire crews from Yelverton and Crownhill attended and found two people trapped in their cars.

Firefighters helped paramedics with removing both casualties by using cutting gear and small tools.

Both males were taken to Derriford Hospital by ambulance.

Crew made both vehicles and the scene safe.

Police say there are long tailbacks which are causing delays.
