FORMER Plymstock School pupil James Taylor did a media degree at Swansea University then worked in the film and TV industry including for Plymouth company Twofour, before doing the MA.
He currently lives in Buckinghamshire.
Head Over Heels was made in stop-go animation – the technique used by Wallace and Gromit creators Aardman – for £4,000.
It has won 20 international prizes, but was not nominated for a Bafta, the leading UK film award.
