Royal Mail manager to face judge over alleged thefts from the post
A ROYAL Mail manager charged with stealing money from the post will face a judge at Crown court.
David Paul Baker, aged 47, has again appeared before city magistrates accused of stealing £77 from five envelopes and parcels belonging to the Royal Mail on October 3 last year.

BAILED: David Baker has yet to enter a plea and will go before a judge on September 7
He is also charged with opening an item of post on the same day.
Baker, of Rocky Park Road in Plymstock, has not yet entered a plea.
Magistrates, who earlier refused to hear the case, have now formally committed Baker to Crown court.
He was released on unconditional bail and ordered to appear before a judge on September 7.
