ELBURTON VILLA will be hoping their Haye Road pitch has recovered from the flooding that caused last weekend's game postponed so they can entertain visiting Ivybridge Town tonight (7.30pm).

  1. ON A MISSION: Ivybridge Town will be hoping to avenge their 2-1 defeat at Erme Valley in August, in their scheduled game against Elburton Villa at Haye Road tonight

Managers Simon Westlake and Mark Bowden could see striker Lee Salmon return from his Christmas break but defender Lee Rundle is suspended.

Ivybridge's Mike Scott is back to give the Bridgers a full strength squad for what will be their first league game in a month if the wet weather abates.

TOMORROW

TAVISTOCK'S former Mansfield Town forward Ian Holmes is the only absentee for the Lambs who entertain league leaders Bodmin Town at Langsford Park (3pm).

Lambs boss Ian Southcott is in confident mood ahead of the game in west Devon.

He said: "Bodmin are a quality side but the lads should go in to the game in good spirits having won six of our last seven games."

LISKEARD ATHLETIC have the difficult task of a trip to Pennygillam (3pm) to take on a Launceston outfit who are being tipped for a top-three finish by many Peninsula pundits.

Manager Paul Blatchford hopes to include striker Joe Jasper in his squad, after his return from his back-packing, but the he is subject to a seven day approach from Division One East side Plymstock United.

Jasper scored 27 goals for Vospers Oak Villa last season before moving to Lux Park with Martin Burgess. But it was only a short move as he set off on his backpacking adventure early this season without opening his account for the Blues.

Blatchford will be hoping his side catch Launceston at the right time as Leigh Cooper's Clarets only played twice in December, losing both games 2-1.

SALTASH UNITED are without two of their first-team squad for the trip to Bickland Park to take on Falmouth Town (3pm).

Full-back Steve Sargison and striker Ross Saint are unavailable, but manager Stuart Dudley still has a squad of 14 to select from.
