Relatives and colleagues will gather at the Anglican Cathedral in Portsmouth on Sunday May 6, for the event, being held to mark the 30th anniversary of the conflict.

Sailors, marines, soldiers and air force personnel who served in the South Atlantic in 1982 will be among the congregation.

Among those invited to the ceremony will be the Deputy Commander-in-Chief Fleet, Vice Admiral Phil Jones; Commodore Bill Walworth, head of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary and senior representatives of the Royal Navy Reserves and the Royal Marines, who served during the conflict.
