DEVON SENIOR MERIT TABLE Devonport Services II...88 Tiverton II..0

SERVICES celebrated a comprehensive win against a depleted Tiverton side who had to borrow two players to make up their 15.

Services started their try-fest through John Mason and Joe McKinley, with Mark Symes adding a conversion. Vula scored the third try, Symes again converting.

Tiverton had a short spell of play and drove up the field but gave away a scrum and the ball ended up in the hands of Navy under-23 winger Mo Andrews to score.

Tiverton then had a good spell for 10 minutes getting close to the line.

They decided to chip ahead, an effort easily picked off and Andrews scored his second try and added a conversion.

From the restart, McKinley added his second try of the game thanks to good work from the back line.

Five minutes after the restart the scrums went to being uncontested until Joe Page scored the first of his two tries.

Tiverton were handicapped by only having 14 players but stuck to their task.

Veteran scrum-half Alex Hanson touched down, then Vula scored under the posts to give Page an easy conversion.

Ratu Panu scored twice, with Phil Greenside converting both tries. With the game running away from Tiverton Rab Seru scored out wide.

Full-back Mark Iffey scored a well deserved try and Sean Dunn converted.

Rab Seru scored his second try and Greenside a third conversion with a couple of minutes to go.
