THE Royal Oak Inn at Meavy has been chosen as runner up in the Campaign for Real Ale Plymouth Branch 'Country pub of the year 2012'.

Stephen Burridge, bar manager of The Royal Oak said: "This marks us out as one of the finest outlets for cask beer, chosen by local CAMRA members."
