A SPONSORED walk will take place this Sunday in aid of International Animal Rescue.

Burrator Reservoir is the venue for the four-mile walk, organised by Ken Stephens of Wembury, who says anyone is welcome to go along, including dogs, and help raise money for the cause.

Anyone wishing to take part in the event is asked to just turn up on the day at the quarry car park. Meeting time is 10.30am with the walk starting at 11am. Entry cost is £5 for those not already registered and children are free.

All donations go direct to the charity, personally delivered by Ken when he returns to Goa on his annual trip, where funds raised are used to help care for sick and injured animals and controlling the population of dogs and cats.
