Start the new year by studying for a new skill

STUDENTS are being encouraged to sign up for the leisure and recreational courses beginning this month.

Cornwall College Saltash has places available on courses including digital photography, flower arranging, French and Spanish, stained glass, a range of cookery including Indian and Mexican, guitar and yoga. Students taking part in these courses range from 18 to 80 and courses vary in length from one week to a year.

Dave Linnell, principal of Cornwall College, said: "It is great for us to be able to offer courses to those who want to continue their learning at a relaxed pace while making new friends."
