WALTZ away an evening with romantic Austrian music at Plymouth Pavilions.

The Johann Strauss Gala, always a popular night at the city venue, returns on February 5.

The music takes audiences back to the glittering ballrooms of 19th century Vienna.

Directing from the violin in the traditional Viennese manner, David Juritz leads the Johann Strauss Orchestra, with soprano Caroline MacPhie and the Johann Strauss Dancers.

The programme includes: The Blue Danube Waltz, Tritsch Tratsch Polka, Radetzky March, Thunder and Lightning Polka, The Laughing Song from Die Fledermaus, Pizzicato Polka, Perpetuum mobile, Wiener Blut and Die Fledermaus Overture.
