Students get chance to make their mark
STUDENTS at City College Plymouth took part in one of the first events of Plymouth Enterprise Week – the Make Your Mark challenge.
About 60 young people studying business at the college split into groups and came up with business plans based on the theme of Olympic and Paralympic values during the activity.

They will today find out which group won, with that group being entered into the national Make Your Mark finals.
Alison Chapman, course coordinator for the BTEC first introductory diploma in business, ran the challenge.
She said: "It was a great day which allowed the students to really understand what it means to be an entrepreneur. They were made to work with each other, judge each other and work to deadlines.
"They all enjoyed it and it was a great way to launch Enterprise Week."
The students will be at the INSPIRE event at Plymouth Albion today.
The first event of Plymouth Enterprise Week was organised by the city's Chamber of Commerce.
Eurekanomics! took place at the Duke of Cornwall hotel in front of around 170 businesspeople.
Mark Berrisford-Smith, senior economist at HSBC, spoke on the state of the UK economy and was grilled by a panel.
The programme of events in Plymouth, which has been organised to champion businesses in the city as part of National Enterprise Week, draws to a close on Friday.
