Traffic built up between Pennycomequick and Milehouse.

The road has since been cleared and traffic is flowing smoothly.

The smash happened just over two hours after another hold-up nearby.

A tree fell into one lane of busy Outland Road near the Morrisons superstore.

The northbound carriageway was partially blocked as police helped clear the road.

Meanwhile, one lane of the Tamar Bridge was closed to traffic at around 6pm this evening as a result of high winds.
