Talented couple Sean Lakeman and Kathryn Roberts win top BBC folk music award
A HUSBAND and wife music duo have scooped a top folk award.
Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman won the Best Duo accolade at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

The couple, who live in Horrabridge, collected their award at a glittering ceremony at the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.
The duo – lynchpins of folk-acoustic revival over the last 20 years – only hit the road together again after the release of their new CD Hidden People.

In recent years Sean, 38, has been producing CDs for his famous younger brother Seth, as well as touring the world in his band as a guitarist.
Kathryn, 37, has been mainly at home bringing up twins, Poppy and Lily, who are now six and at school.
The pair met when Kathryn and singing partner Kate Rusby teamed up with the three Lakeman brothers Sean, Sam and Seth to form a folk pop supergroup, Equation.
Kathryn and Sean will be touring and playing major gigs during this year, including Devon's Chagstock Festival and Fairport Convention's famous Cropredy Festival in Oxfordshire.
They have two Devon gigs coming up – at the Church House, South Tawton and Otterton Mill at Budleigh Salterton, but both gigs sold out months in advance.
The couple are also nominated for Best Duo and Best Original Song in the Spiralearth Awards run by the popular folk and roots music website.
Guitarist Nic Jones - who now also lives in the West Devon village of Buckland Monachorum, won Folk Singer of the Year at the same awards in Glasgow.
