"I am sure it will make a difference to the students who have downloaded it."
The short films on You Tube include advice on how to answer exam questions, examples of high-scoring work, question and answer sessions and analysis of themes and texts.
The channel has attracted 1,550 subscribers and more than 410,050 views.
The school is exploring the use of social networking site Twitter to spread the message wider, and there are plans to let the students take control of the project and encourage them to lead the way.
Since the eBook went live, education gurus, authors, schools, teachers and students have also been raving about the book.

“It was such an overwhelming experienced for Mr. Buff for the overall making of the big hit. This is really true ebooks are on demand nowadays I guess it should be given for free just like the aim of http://tinyurl.com/3y865sz giving free ebooks not just to students but to all professionals who need it. Learning would be more fun if we can just get it without paying for more.”
