Teams urged to enter Youth Cup
FOOTBALL: Hosts Plymouth Argyle are inviting teams of youngsters to enter their annual Community Youth Cup competition.
The Plymouth Argyle Community Youth Cup, to give the tournament its full name, will be staged at Home Park and Harpers Park on the weekend of May 11/12 2013.
The six-a-side competition is devised specifically for youngsters aged under-eight and under-nine, and also under-10 and under-11, with every team having the opportunity and experience to play at least one match on the main pitch.
The lower age band will compete on Saturday (May 11), while the older category competes the next day (Sunday, May 12).

However, there will be a limit of 24 teams with no more than 12 players per squad and each side playing a minimum of four matches.
One match to be played on the main first team pitch and mini-soccer rules will be employed during the matches.
The cost of entering the tournament is £50 per team, which will cover entrance fees and admission to the ground for players and parents.
There is an early bird sign up price of £30 if you register before Friday, February 1 2013.
