Teenager accused of punching boy unconscious
A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of punching a boy unconscious in the street.
Jay Kingcombe (left), aged 18, was brought to Plymouth Magistrates' Court charged with assaulting the 14-year-old causing actual bodily harm in St Budeaux on July 20.

He is also accused of breaking an anti-social behaviour order by carrying out the alleged assault in Victoria Road at 10pm. Kingcombe, of Collin Close, St Budeaux, is also charged with a second breach of the order by threatening violence when police came to arrest him on July 27.
Kingcombe indicated 'no plea' to all matters.
Angela Furniss, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said that Kingcombe had allegedly punched the boy in the face.
She added: "He was knocked to the ground and knocked unconscious and needed hospital treatment. He sustained bruising to the left side of the face and grazing to his left elbow, and cut his mouth."
Kingcombe elected to be dealt with at crown court.
He was released on conditional bail to return to face magistrates on September 22 while the case is prepared.
He was put on a curfew to remain indoors between 7pm and 7am.

“How often does this thug have to break the law before someone actually happens? How much compensation will the 14 year old boy get? what about this 'no win, no fee' thing advertised? Someone needs to start suing the little idiots for their behaviour. I bet it will stop after that.”
