Tell Prime Minister
IT is looking promising that we might get Plymouth Airport back now that we know that the council is on our side. But we can't be complacent; there is a long way to go.
This is why I urge the people of Plymouth to write to David Cameron and let him know how passionate we are about this cause and how vital it is to our city, for economic growth and business and transport links to the rest of the world. Let him know that we have had an airport for many years and we need and want it back. Without our airport who knows what will become of Plymouth?
This is the time for the people of Plymouth to get together and fight for this worthy cause.

“No money left for us for investment and you should be feeling really guilty you are not paying more in taxes.... but plenty for foriegn aid and their armaments, dictatorships and space programs .
Anyone asking why their own money is not invested in this country is now classed as a bigot .”

“The airport ran just fine for 80 years but went up the spout within 5 minutes of the labour council signing it over to SHH. I've tipped off BBCTV's Panorama suggesting they could investigate the whole affair..”

“The idea that the government is going to purchase a loss making airport is laughable. Just Mr Evans trying to shift the blame away from himself and onto Whitehall.”

“It might also be worthwhile dropping Richard Branson a line telling him Plymouth Airport is up for grabs, he might like the idea of having his own airport..:)

“To be honest, you can put the airport where the sun is not shining, the major blight on Plymouth is the incinerator!”
