Splash features Tom Daley and a team of professional coaches teaching a number of celebrities how to take the first steps into the world of diving. Some of the contestants seem to take to the sport like a duck to water, while others have shown styles reminiscent of a trusty old belly flop when entering the pool

This week hosts Gabby Logan and Vernon Kay are joined by: Interior designer and TV presenter Linda Barker, comedian Dom Joly, actress Tina Malone and Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo.
Testament to the fact that diving is a dangerous sport was last week's contestant, TV presenter Charlotte Jackson, who broke her toe during training but still managed to make it through to the semifinal and people's favorite Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards doing a one-and-a-half somersault pike off the 10 metre diving board.
18:53 - Welcome to thisisplymouth's live updates from the third installment of Tom Daley's new TV-show, Splash.
18:57 - This week's contestants are: TV presenter Linda Barker, comedian Dom Joly, actress Tina Malone and Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo. Remember, you can tell us who you think will win the competition or comment on the proceedings on twitter using the hashtag #thisissplash.
19:00 - And we're ready to begin tonight's show.
19:01 - Tonight's divers are taking part in the final with the top two advancing to the semifinals.
19:02 - The contestants are introduced - everyone is looking pretty confident.
19:05 - Tom Daley shows us how it's with a reverse two-and-a-half pike somersault of the ten metre board.
19:07 - Tom Daley: "When you stand on the edge of a diving board, it's one of the most lonely experiences. It's just you and the board."
"The most somersaults I've been able to do off the five metre board is three-and-a-half."
My best was three quarters...
19:10 - Tonight's first diver is up. It's interior designer Linda Barker.
19:12 - Linda Barker is showing good control in training. But then damages her shoulder. Will be interesting i that affects her dive.
19:13 - Linda's dive for the competition: A tuck dive off the seven-and-a-half meter board.
19:15 - We're off to a good start. Linda Barker performs a graceful dive with an entry that even Tom Daley would have been proud of. Let's see what the judges say.
19:16 - The judges are impressed. They score the dive 8, 9 and 8.5. A total of 25.5 out of 30 is going to take some beating.
19:17 - Tom Daley: "She's gone up there and done extremely well. Good height and good entry."
19:18 - "I'm really pleased with that," says Linda Barker after her dive, showing off her bruises from training.
19:22 - Here, after the commercials, it's time for Dom Jolly.
19:23 - Jolly in training, showing to be a daredevil.
19:24 - Dom Jolly seems to lose confidence during training...
19:25 - But is still going for a swan dive off the ten meter board.
19:26 - A little wave to the crowd, a look over the edge and he's ready.
19:27 - Dom leans forward too much from the start and has a bad entry with loads of splash.
19:28 - The judges aren't that impressed. "You landed in the water like a banana" is one comment. The scores are: 6.5, 7 and 6.5, giving him a total of 20.
19:30 - Next up is Donna Air.
19:32 - Donna will be doing a forward roll dive off the five meter board.
19:33 - The dive is a bit over rotated and legs are a little too far apart.
19:34 - The judges' scores: 5, 6.5 and 5.5, giving her a total of 17 out of 30.
19:35 - Tom Daley: "Over rotation can be hard to control. If you push off the board you're automatically going to be in trouble."
19:42 - It's time for Tina Malone to take to the boards.
19:43 - Tina shows a preference for the belly flop during training.
19:44 - Tina's dive will be a forward pike fall from the three meter board.
19:45 - Tina Malone readies herself, goes off the board and makes a smooth entry. Well done for someone afraid of heights.
19:46 - The judges seem to be relieved that the dive wasn't a car crash. Tina promises to go off the five meter board if she makes it through. However, the promise doesn't sway the judges whose scores are: 4, 5 and 4, giving her a total of 13.
19:49 - Anthony Ogogo is going to attempt a backward somersault off the seven-and-a-half meter board, even though footage from training shows him landing straight on his back while attempting a forwards version of the jump during training.
19:55 - Time for Anthony Ogogo who does boxing moves in his speedos on the way to the boards. Somehow less scary than seeing him in the ring. Might have something to do with the speedos.
19:56 - Ogogo during training: absolutely destroys himself in a dive but gets up and does it again.
19:57 - Falling backwards somersault on the menu for Agogo.
19:58 - Anthony Ogogo steadies himself, leans back and executes an impressive backward somersault.
19:59 - The judges are split on Anthony Ogogo's dive - two are not impressed while Jo Brand is. However, the scores are pretty similar: 7, 8 and 7, giving him a total of 22.
20:01 - With all scores in the standings are Tina Malone: 13, Anthony Ogogo: 22, Donna Air: 17, Dom Jolly: 20 and Linda Barker: 25,5. It's time for the public to cast their vote.
20:04 - So who should go through and why? Tell us on Twitter by adding the hashtag #thisissplash
20:10 - The show's special dancers and divers put on a show while the public's vote is counted.
20:14 - The judges reveal a little of how the contestants can get high scores. It seems to involve going off the ten meter board.
20:15 - A final break and then it'll be time for the scores.
20:21 - Anthony Ogogo gets the highest combined score and goes straight through to the semifinal.
20:22 - Donna Air is the first diver to be voted off the show, followed by Dom Jolly who'll also be going home.
20:23 - Linda Barker and Tina Malone are facing each other in the splash off for the second place in the semifinals.
20:24 - Linda Barker is first up. She seems to take a while to steady herself, and over rotates her dive.
20:26 - Tine Malone dives and under rotates. This is going to be a close call. Neither did as well in their second attempt as their first one.
20:28 - The judges are split: Linda gets the first vote, Tina gets the second, but Linda gets the deciding third vote and goes through.
20:30 So it's Linda Barker and Anthony Ogogo that make it through to the semifinals.
