Get a picture of Tom Daley daily with new 2013 calendar
AN Olympic diving medallist who has girls across the country swooning after him said there is already a "lot of interest" in his forthcoming calendar.
Pictures of local 18-year-old heart throb Tom Daley wearing wet T-shirts and running his fingers through his slick hair are sure to get the girls going wild.
But the Plymouth College student said his soon-to-be-released 2013 calendar is "almost a bit of a mick take".
He said: "The calendar comes out in stores in the next couple of weeks but it can be pre-ordered online now.

"Apparently the Calendar Club said there is a lot of interest in it.
"It really just sums up my year. There are a couple of Olympic-themed pictures so it's a good souvenir too."
The photographs for the calendar were shot at a number of different locations, with the month of May, Tom's birthday, being his favourite image.
He said: "The one on the front cover where I'm covered in water was really funny to do. Someone had to pour a bucket of water over me, it wasn't cold, it was sort of lukewarm. It took a few takes to get it right though because the water needed to be in the right place."
The talented Olympic bronze medalist said his calendar would make an ideal gift.
He said: "I'm going to give it to all my friends at Christmas, it will be a funny present. My friends all think the calendar is really funny. It's a mick take almost!
"It's the first calendar I've done and it was good fun. I really enjoyed it and I just hope people like it."
When asked whether he might pursue a career in modelling in the future, Tom replied: "I'd give it a go!"

He came third in the olympics which is great and all but so what. Did the country that came tbird in the world cup get a hero's welcome on their return? Did the man and woman who cake third at wimbledon get a parade? It seems only in the olympics is coming third something to cheer about.
Go away Tom and come back when you win something commensurate with the amount of attention you think you deserve.”

“People talk about Toms Bronze at the Olympics as if it was a failure. Just to remind folk, the Olympics isn't the only time Tom dives. He is the current Bristish champion , current European champion, current Commonwealth champion, Ex world champion and Olympic bronze and 4th. Not bad for an 18 year old. He may not be your cup of tea for over doing it in the media but lets not forget that a bronze in the Olympics isn't the "be all and end all" in the world of sports and doesn't define a career. We all know that Tom is up there with the very best in his field and on a different day the scores can be very different. End of the day he's a young lad good at what he does and knows he can sell himself , if he makes a few quid along the way who can blame him. Would we be any different?? answer we'll never know.”
