Torpoint ferries to be suspended after high tides warning
Ferry services between Plymouth and Torpoint are to be suspended tonight.
The Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee has revealed that operations will be suspended because of fears over high tides.

A spokesman for the committee said: "Based on advice from the Environment Agency of a forecast storm surge coinciding with very high tides, significant flooding is expected at the Torpoint Ferry Devonport Slipways on this evening’s high tide.
"The Torpoint Ferry service will therefore be suspended, with no ferries operating, with effect from 7pm until the service is considered safe to operate, expected to be around 9pm.
