A black Jaguar and a red Mini hatchback collided at Marsh Mills at around 7am, police said.

Traffic was already moving slowly in the area as a result of ongoing roadworks.
Vehicles backed up along the A374 Plymouth Road and Embankment Road after the smash, which happened in the middle lane of the busy roundabout.

Nobody was seriously hurt in the smash, though one man complained of back spasms.
He declined to be seen by an ambulance crew, a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said.
The road was cleared at around 7.50am but traffic remained slow-moving until after 8.15am.
