Trial of Plymouth baby death father delayed again
THE trial of a father accused of killing his baby daughter has been put back three months.
Benjamin Roach will not face a jury until May next year.
The 24-year-old, of Tailyour Road, in Crownhill, denies manslaughter of Roxie-Jo Hopkins-Roach on September 23, 2010.
Plymouth Crown Court heard his 10-day trial had been listed for February 11 next year, but that an expert witness was not available.

Judge Graham Cottle adjourned the trial until May 7. Roach, wearing a grey suit, was released on bail until that date.
The judge told a previous hearing that the delay in bringing the case was due to the complexity of the evidence, which needed to be analysed by expert witnesses.
