Michelle charity launch
A CHARITY founded in memory of a local mum of four who died of cancer will be officially launched next week.
Michelle Harby was just 38-years-old when she died in February after a long struggle with the disease.
Friends and family are determined to continue her love of music with The Michelle Harby Foundation which will be launched at an event at The Treasury, Catherine Street, on Friday June 3.
"She lost her fight in February and since them her friends have come together to form a charity to keep her passions for music and the seaside alive in her memory," said Steve Taylor, secretary of the foundation.

Michelle, from Antony near Torpoint, who wrote and performed her own music, battled cancer after being diagnosed in 2007. She fought the disease but it returned to her bones and was discovered shortly after the birth of her youngest child last year.
She leaves behind son Dominic, who is vice-chair of the foundation, Morgan, Sebastian and Ruben.
Aimed at supporting music students and helping young people to visit the beach and the seaside, the foundation reflects the songwriter's own interests.
The launch will feature live music and an auction and raffle.
