Uni ready for influx of visitors
MORE than 7,000 visitors are expected to descend on the city this weekend to have a look at Plymouth University.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to tour the campus and find out more about the courses on offer, accommodation and how to make the most of their time.
There will also be talks and advice for parents and guardians about issues such as fees, funding and the support offered during their time in the city.
Student recruitment manager Cassandra Hickling said: "Plymouth is a world-class university, both in terms of its teaching and its facilities.

The University was awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize earlier this year in recognition of its maritime expertise, while it is also nominated in three categories of the Times Higher Education Awards, including University of the Year.
Visitors will also be offered guided tours of Plymouth, the recently-opened Life Centre and other academic and leisure facilities in and around the city.
