DIVISION ONE EAST

PLYMSTOCK UNITED hope their Dean Cross pitch has recovered in time for the visit of Teignmouth (2.15pm).

The Teigns were one of only four East division sides who played on Boxing Day. But they might wish they had not made the effort after going down 3-1 at Newton Abbot Spurs, who moved to the top of the table.

Plymstock, whose game at Totnes & Dartington was washed out, have added second team player Ashley Hughes to their squad as they look to continue the good form that has seen them take six points from their last three games.

DIVISION ONE WEST

CALLINGTON TOWN have a full-strength squad available for the visit of leaders Godolphin Atlantic to Marshfield Parc (2.15pm).

Town will need to inflict a rare defeat on Atlantic if they are to maintain their hopes of getting in among the leading pack, but their opponents are one of only two unbeaten sides in the entire Peninsula league.

THROGMORTON CUP THIRD ROUND

TORPOINT ATHLETIC'S hopes have been hit by recent postponements in more ways than one.

The bad weather has not allowed Josh Grant and Dan Johns to feature for Torpoint. The pair are therefore ineligible for tomorrow's tie at The Mill against Bodmin Town (2.30pm).

Grant and Johns are the only two absentees against the cup holders, who have already won 4-0 at The Mill and 5-1 at Priory Park in the league.

Extra time and penalties are to ensure a result on the day.
