GUILDFORD Heat coach Creon Raftopoulos says Plymouth Raiders guard Taner Adu is the 'most unorthodox scorer in the BBL'.

Raftopoulos added: "It makes Taner difficult to defend. And in Anthony Rowe, Plymouth have another good scorer."

Adu said of Raiders' opening 79-77 win over Worthing Thunder last Friday: "It was good to get the win without playing well, but we shouldn't have been in that position. We committed way too many turnovers.

"Maybe it was first-night nerves. There was a lot of pressure on us, and we were supposed to win, but you have to give Worthing credit. They played really hard.
