The one with the most votes by Wednesday, December 5 will be the home shirt Plymouth Argyle will wear next season.

Supporters can vote for their favourite shirt by coupon or text or online. People voting by coupon or text could win one of a number of fabulous prizes.

They include the chance to be part of a Pilgrims' official team picture next season; the chance to win the first new shirt out of the factory with your name printed on it and the chance to win a VIP day out at Home Park and meet the manager Carl Fletcher and players.

Five readers will also win one of the new shirts.

Herald editor Ian Wood said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for all supporters of Plymouth Argyle.

"It follows in the footsteps of the club allowing fans to select the pasty supplier at Home Park and further highlights the club's desire to interact with their loyal fanbase."

You can vote with the coupons or by text as many times as you like.

The three shirt designs vying for your votes are called Evoque, Spirit and Prince.

You can vote once here online, or as many times as you like by cutting a coupon from The Herald or by texting your vote to 65100.

Text TH ARGYLE and your choice (1001, 1002 or 1003) - Texts cost 50p plus your standard network rate. Full terms and conditions are printed in The Herald.

Option one, Evoque, incorporates a round-neck design which is surrounded by a sloping white area with trim. It also includes a green Puma logo.

Option two, Spirit, sees the puma logo sandwiched by two white strips from the collar with one white strip present from the other side of the collar.

Option three, Prince, features a two-tone green design along the side of the shirt with white trim. There is a flash of white with two green stripes surrounding the round-neck collar which gives the effect of a v-neck design.

“If they must have a new strip, why not have a competition whereby the fans can put forward their designs? The shirt I personally liked, was the 1960's white with chest band and crest in the middle. A modern version of that would be better than any proposed.”
